Frequently Asked Questions

Eyebrow microblading is the art of creating fuller thicker eyebrows through the use of manual tattooing techniques. The process involves the application of detailed, fine lines on the eyebrow area that effectively mimic the natural colour and fine hairs that form the eyebrow. First, a fine scalpel or blade is used to make fine, microstroking incisions on the skin in a shape and form that has been predetermined by the microblading specialist and the client

Microblading is the perfect solution if you want to correct your current eyebrow shape, add volume to brows or fill in sparse areas. It is also suitable if you have no eyebrow hairs, as we will create a new, beautiful, natural looking brow.

After the initial procedure, one retouch procedure is required to refresh the strokes make them look more defined, that will prevent pigment from fading too fast.  It is usually performed after 4-8 weeks after the first treatment.

In average first treatment is done in about 1.5 hrs. Following top up, procedures take a half hour to 1hr

Microblading effect can last between 6 months to 3 years but on average lasts between 12-18months. The pigment is attached to skin cells of the skin layer, and in theory, should last as long as the skin regeneration cycle. However, various factors influence colour durability, for example, skin type, lifestyle, exposure to the sun, facial treatments that regenerate skin etc.

We will provide you with verbal and written aftercare instructions, specifically chosen for your skin type. It can affect your lifestyle for the next 7 days if you are extensively exercising, as activities that can cause sweat, have to be avoided as well as public swimming pools, dusty environments and extreme exposure to the sun etc. Makeup on your brows is not allowed for 14 days after treatment.

We use a unique tool to design the shape. We fully draw the shape outline before commencing microblading treatment. The shape will complement your existing eyebrow shape and is created to contour the natural shape of the eye but with a more polished look. To ensure ultimate symmetry we use a mobile application and take digital pictures.
